You will need a lawyer on your team to ensure you get exactly what you pay for, according to the terms of your purchase agreement.

Your lawyer will see to it that the property’s title is in order and legally transferred, that the property taxes, utilities, and condo fees, if applicable, are up to date, and that your mortgage is secured as required. They’ll let you know how much money you will need to complete the transaction and see that the seller is paid the purchase price.
